50 – White Blend
2005
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Lush, tropical perfume with volume and lingering finish.
COLOR:
Golden straw
FULL DESCRIPTION:
A blend of six white varietals, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon,
Pinot Gris, Viognier and Gewürztraminer, highlights the best of each
varietal in delightful harmony. This medium-bodied white reveals deep
tropical perfumes with subtle flavors of Asian pair, golden apple &
ripe peach. In a non-malolactic style, this refreshing wine combines volume,
roundness and length in an explosive symphony of taste and aroma.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Pair with seafood dishes like crab cakes & roasted whole fish or fresh
raw shellfish. Excellent with Camembert & Feta cheeses.
50 – Red Blend

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Soft & chewy with aromas of ripe dark berries & spice.
COLOR:
Deep Ruby
FULL DESCRIPTION:
This medium-bodied red blend (assemblage) reveals the mystery of the spices
and “fruitiness” of ripe dark berries. Soft & chewy,
the wine shows a smooth, firm structure, where vanilla & oak aromas
come together to join the distinctive flavors of fruit. Structured
and elegant, this blend opens new horizons in the wines of Long Island.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Great with grilled meats, & fowl, & mushroom cream sauces.
Pair with strong cheeses such as aged Parmesan & Cantal. Yes,
that is the label you see glowing in your cellar.
MERLOT
2002
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Black cherries & blueberries with fine toasty oak.
COLOR:
Dark ruby red
FULL DESCRIPTION:
With classic varietal aromas of Long Island merlot, this wine reveals
delicate flavors black cherries & wild blueberries. A well balanced
red wine, its structure brings together fruitiness and fine toasty oak
perfectly melted with the ripe, soft tannin characteristics of Long Island
terroir.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
This wine is ready to drink now with its intricate fruitiness & ripe
tannins. It could also be cellared for about 5 years. Enjoy with red or
white meat, it will also compliment cheese. Try with a beef roast
and Madeira wine sauce or warm Brie over toast.
